It has been said that children are blessings from God. The dream of every couple is to be happy, have the good things of life and have kids. Not just kids, but well brought up kids who when they grow up will make their parents proud. Unfortunately, there are many children out there who have been unlucky to be born into families where they are abused daily and have been left to fend for themselves. Some have grown up hard hearted as a result of so many years spent in crime and juvinile homes and have taken out their anger and frustration on the innocents. Others have ended up killed in gang related beefings, with some locked up in jail for the remaining days of their lives, never to experience what it means to be free. The truth remains that most young men who turned out to be bad eggs, could have turn out better individuals if only they had the proper trainings and the love of their parents. If you have a child, treat him right. shower him with love and protect him from bad influence. It is being said that the enviroment a child grows up in will always affect such a child. Take for example a child who grows up watching his father come back home drunk every night, you bet he will someday take after his old man.
If you have a child, teach him the beauty of humility and to be a great lover of simplicity. Encourage him to be fearless and to freely speak his mind, without being afraid of stepping on toes. I have never seen a man who achieved anything in life by being scared nor have i seen a man who spent all his life on planet earth without stepping on someones toe. Fortune befriend the bold and so if you have a child, teach him to be confident in their abilities and in the dream they carry. Avoid using swear words around your kids. whatever words they hear you say, they will also imitate and by so doing become you. Bad communication corrupts good manners. Help encourage them to pursue their goals in life. Be the best friend that they will forever count on. Above all, see to it that you provide for the needs of your family as a father and never cease to speak positively into their lives.
